Garden Eels Dive SiteThe Garden Eels Dive Site is located at Danao, Panglao Island, Bohol, Philippines. It is ½ km from Belleview Rock Resort, at its west side, and approximately 3min by pump boat or outrigger boat or 110m off the beach. This dive site is rated 3/5. GPS Coordinates: N.09°32.711-E.123°46.260 Baring: From the beach 251°. The dive composes a steep slope and a wall dive which is good for snorkeling. It is an easy dive site for PADI Open Water Divers or higher with a visibility of (+) at 8-25M, a depth of 5-23m and current at 0-2. The dive is most interesting at 8-12m and not so much below 25m. The area is not affected by dynamite fishing. Start dive site with the wall on the left or right shoulder. In the beginning is a beautiful bow-shaped cliff where Nudibranches can be found. A beautiful coral garden is on the top of the wall with lots of small fishes like Red-Amethyst-Purple Fin Anthias. At the bottom of the sandy slope is the Splendid Sand Eels (Heteroconger preclara) and Spotted Garden Eel (Heteroconger hassi). This is a great dive site for night diving.
