Get in Touch — But First, Your Answer Might Already Be Here

We read every message we receive. We also know that most questions people send us have already been answered somewhere on the site — sometimes in embarrassing detail. So before you type anything out, take 30 seconds to check below. You might save yourself the wait.

If your question isn’t covered, scroll down and send us a message. We’ll get back to you.

Quick Answers — Check Here First

“How do I get to Bohol?”

The most common question we get, by a significant margin. The full answer — ferries, flights, routes, operators, and what to do if you miss the last departure — is in the Bohol Ferry Guide and the Bohol and Cebu Transportation Guide.

Short version: take OceanJet or SuperCat from Cebu City Pier 1. About two hours. Book online through 12Go if it’s peak season.

“Where should I stay in Bohol?”

Depends entirely on what you want to wake up to. The Bohol Hotels Guide breaks it down by area and budget. If you’ve already decided on Panglao, the Alona Beach Hotels roundup is the most read page on this site for a reason.

“What tours are worth doing?”

Bohol Tours hub has everything from countryside day tours to island hopping to multi-day packages — with honest notes on what’s crowded, what books out fast, and what’s genuinely worth the price.

“I’m planning my first trip — where do I start?”

Start at the Bohol Travel Guide. It’s the master guide — every destination, every experience type, all the logistics. Everything else on the site connects back to it.

Adding Cebu? The Cebu Travel Guide covers the same ground for the other island.

“What’s the best time to visit?”

November to April (dry season / amihan) for beaches and diving. October to November if you want good conditions without peak-season crowds. Full seasonal breakdown with month-by-month activity guides is in the Travel Essentials hub.

“I have a problem with my booking”

If you booked through GetYourGuide, Klook, Viator, Booking.com, Agoda, or any other platform we link to — contact them directly. Those bookings are between you and the platform; we’re not a party to the transaction and we can’t process refunds or changes on their behalf.

If the issue involves the link itself (it went to the wrong page, the booking confirmation looks wrong, etc.), then yes, let us know.

What We’re Actually Good at Helping With

Once you’ve checked the guides above, here’s what’s genuinely useful to send us:

🗺️ Content corrections and updates — Found a ferry schedule that’s changed, a hotel that’s closed, a trail that’s been rerouted? Tell us the page URL and what’s different. We update guides when corrections are verified and we appreciate every tip.

✍️ Content requests — A destination you can’t find covered on the site, a route someone should write up properly, a festival worth documenting. We can’t promise we’ll cover everything, but reader requests have directly influenced what we’ve published.

📸 Collaboration and media — Travel writers, photographers, content creators, tourism boards. Introduce yourself and what you’re working on. We’re selective but open to the right partnerships.

🔗 Link corrections — Broken links, redirect errors, affiliate links that aren’t working. Include the page URL and where you clicked from.

📋 General feedback — Something confused you, something was more helpful than expected, something read oddly. We built this site incrementally over 15 years and there’s always something to improve.

What We Probably Can’t Help With

Booking disputes — Contact the platform (GetYourGuide, Klook, etc.) or the service provider directly. We don’t have access to your reservation.

Custom itinerary planning — We’re a publishing site, not a personal travel consultant. The guides are designed to be self-service for exactly this purpose. The 77 Things to Do in Bohol is as close to a custom itinerary tool as we have.

Visa and immigration questions — Check the Philippine Bureau of Immigration directly. Visa requirements change and we’re not qualified to give immigration advice.

Real-time availability and pricing — We publish guides, not live booking systems. For current prices, use the booking platforms directly.

Send Us a Message

Ready to plan your next adventure or have questions about our Bohol and Cebu tours?
Have a question? Contact us!

What to include for a faster reply:

  • If you’re flagging a content error: the page URL and the specific section
  • If you’re pitching a collaboration: a brief intro and what you’re proposing
  • If you’re asking about something not covered in the guides: as much context as you can give

Response Times

We’re a small team based between Bohol, Cebu, and Macau. We aim to reply within 2–3 business days, sometimes faster.

We don’t have a 24/7 support line. We’re also not on the road every week — we’re real people with real schedules. Pasensya na (sorry for the wait) if it takes a bit longer during our own travel periods.

Other Ways to Reach Us

Spotted us on social media?
We’re on Facebook — mostly sharing new guides, seasonal travel tips, and the occasional photo from somewhere on the island. You can message us there too, though the contact form above is faster for detailed questions.

Privacy or legal matters?
See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use for data-related requests or legal notices.

Salamat for reading this far. Whatever brings you to Bohol or Cebu — we hope the guides get you there well-prepared.
