Location

The Water Gate Tourist Inn is located at Carlos P. Garcia Avenue, Poblacion, Talibon, Bohol, Philippines. Talibon is a 1st class municipality with a land area of 14,045 hectares and offers a variety of opportunities for agri-business, business for marine resources, and tourism pursuits.

Talibon is located on the northwest side of Bohol. It is bounded on the east by Bien Unido, Trinidad on the south, on the north by Camotes Sea and Getafe on the west. It is accessible by land trip from capital Tagbilaran via eastern exits of Bohol Circumferencial Road, which are 148 and 114 kilometers respectively or through the interior road via Loboc which is 109 kilometers. It can also be accessed by boat direct from Cebu or via Tubigon then by land from Tubigon to Talibon.The Inn is nestled in the center of the town, near to the Mega Market, the wet market, the church, the municipal hall and other business establishments. It is also only a few steps to the Talibon pier.

The Water Gate Tourist Inn boasts of a 3-storey building housing seven (7) room accommodations and a function hall located at the 3rd floor. The rooms are all equipped with modern amenities for a comfortable and convenient stay.

The front desk is open to serve its guests 24 hours daily. Its staff is well-trained, efficient, friendly and very accommodating. Other services are fax services, room services, and laundry services.

Room Options

Standard Single

There are two (2) standard single rooms available, fully air-conditioned and fitted with single beds, cable TV, telephone/intercom, private toilet and bath with hot and cold shower.

Standard Double

There are two (2) standard double rooms, fully air-conditioned and provided with a matrimonial bed for 2, cable TV, telephone/intercom, private toilet and bath with hot and cold shower.

Deluxe

There are two (2) available deluxe rooms, both fully air-conditioned. Rooms are provided with one (1) single bed and one (1) matrimonial bed. The deluxe room is also equipped with a mini refrigerator, cable TV, telephone/intercom, private toilet and bath with hot and cold showers, bath tub, and a private veranda.

Family Room

There is only one (1) available family room which is fully air-conditioned and equipped with two (2) double beds, cable TV, telephone/intercom, mini refrigerator, private toilet and bath with hot and cold shower, bath tub.

Where to Wine and Dine

The Inn does not serve breakfast, lunch or dinner yet guests can avail of meals at the Mega Market’s food court located right across the street from the Inn; or at the Alturas Food Mix, located at the 2nd floor of the Mega Market. Other restaurants and small eateries are nearby.

Functions

Water Gate Tourist Inn has a function hall located at the 3rd floor of the building. The Inn accepts catering services for all occasions such as weddings, debuts, seminars, conferences, product demos, and others.
